A New Fuzzy Process Capability Index for Asymmetric Tolerance Interval

چکیده

Processcapabilityindicesareusedtoevaluatetheperformanceofthemanufacturingprocess.When thespecificationlimitsandthetargetvaluearenotprecise,theauthorscannotusethetraditional methodstoassessthecapabilityoftheprocess.Fortheprocesseswithasymmetrictoleranceintervals, somefuzzyprocesscapabilityindiceshavebeenintroducedsuchas  Cpk '' and  Cpmk '' .Insomecases, theseindicesmayfailtoaccounttheprocessperformance.Toovercometheproblemwiththem,the authorsproposetwonewfuzzyindicesinthecasethatthespecificationlimitsandthetargetvalue arefuzzywhilethedataarecrisp.Also,theauthorspresentanapplicationexampletodemonstrate effectivenessandperformanceoftheproposedindices.
